 De Rotterdamse emcees Scorpio en Zillion (ook bekend van Ablaze) vormden 3 jaar geleden een nieuwe groep met Braziliaanse hip hop producer Alexandre Basa. De komende weken zullen ze in Brazilie met hem gaan werken aan hun nieuwe album en workshops doen in de favela's voor stichting Caramundo in het kader van een uitwisseling tussen Rotterdam en Rio. Op weg naar Schiphol komen ze nog even langs de Lijn5 studio voor een last-minute interview over hun reis. Het eerste uur is daarom een 'Bloedlijn5' special met Braziliaanse hip hop, funk en samba. In het tweede uur zijn de Wallbangaz alweer weg en draaien GMB en J4 nieuwe tunes uit Afrika en de diaspora. Tot slot een Brazil mix van dj 360 met de harde booty bass beats van Favela Funk en verwante stijlen.

Ik bedoel, respect hoor voor wat je in de favela's probeert te bereiken, maar beetje verdiepen in het land he?! P.s. als je daar gaat moet je echt wel inentingen hebben he, no joke.
