Radio | J4, GMB & DJ 360: interview K'naan, special Franse hip hop

De Canadees-Somalische rapper K'naan trad vorige week voor het eerst in 3 jaar op in Nederland. Inmiddels is hij een goed verkopende artiest (40.000 exemplaren van zijn album in de States in de eerste weken na de release), heeft hij een nieuw album opgenomen in de studio van Bob Marley in Jamaica met features van o.a. Chubb Rock en Mos Def, en zelfs Kanye West en South Park hebben het over hem. Amal en J4 spraken met hem over de reactie op zijn clip, zijn onvrijwillige rol als woordvoerder van de Somalische piraten, zijn beroemde (en inmiddels overleden) tante, de zangeres Magool en op welke manier Damian Marley door K'naan beinvloed werd.

Verder in het eerste uur een mini-special met 'Afro-French' hip hop van onder meer Disiz la Peste, Despo Rutti en een collabo van Tunisiano en Aketo met de Algerijnse rai-ster (Cheb) Akil. GMB en J4 bellen met Steve, de organisator van de Utake-avond a.s. vrijdag in Delft, en in het derde uur licht dj 360 zijn 'Peace Africa' mix toe via de telefoon.
